Doors and Gates
Doors and Gates adapt to every imaginable situation and budget.
Tube Frame Doors-For the best performance a steel tube door frame is fitted to a steel tube door jamb. The panel, built with 1.5 x 1.5 x 12 gage shop-formed angle, simply attaches to the door frame with M6 screws. Heavy duty steel hinges are 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 x .150 thick welded to jamb and frame and have removable pins. These doors will fit tight and keep alignment even under heavy use.
Angle Frame Doors-For light duty and/or economy a panel can simply be hung from the tube door frame.
Standard Doors and Gates
Several types of doors are used in the both the Post & Panel and Frame & Panel systems:
- Swing Door-Hinged left or right handed, inswing or outswing, single or double wide.
- Swing Gate-When the fence is too low for a header (under 84" height) or when or a header would interfere with access (loading with a forklift, for example) the header is omitted and the door is refered to as a gate.
- Sliding Door-Welded steel tube frame with a roller track and double rollers with hanger bolts. These can be single or double wide; they can slide left or right or by-pass.
- Sliding Gate-Heavy duty slides carry the load and telescope out as much as 60 inches. A double-wide sliding gate can thus accomodate a 10 foot opening.
- Bi-Fold Gate-When space is tight sometimes nothing will do but a bifold door. Wheel assembly helps carry the load and drop rods secure the gate in open and colosed positions.
- Overhead Lift Door-Counterweighted panels rise vertically where there is no room for a swing or sliding door.
The handles, latches, locks or interlocks are quoted separately from the door or gate assemblies.
